The Docks at Downtown Hampton

Great location. Docks in good repair. Docking assistant was excellent. Walk to several restaurants and museums. Brewery on site with good food and beer and live entertainment. The doxk hand were very courteous and helpful.

Awesome weekend plus at the Docks! Staff was always ready to assist as we were in and out of the slip for Southern Bay Race Weekend at the Hampton Yacht Club. The location is ideal for this weekend and for Blackbeard's Festival Weekend. Convenient to from porch of Bull Island Brewery also!

This is one of the best marinas. The staff is always friendly, they go above and beyond. They really try to be accommodating. I wish more marinas were like this. They have laundry, nice clean bathrooms, and even loaner bikes to get around.

It was top notch. Very nice people, nice little dog park for our pup. Will come back again for sure. Short walk to museums, tons of restaurants. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Good facilities, great staff, and easy access fo town. I look forward to returning!

Great docks , bathrooms - bonus for the husband that it is right next to a brewery and restaurants . Visited Fort Monroe which was worth seeing . The old down town is great and had a catfish sandwich at Pour Girls which was enough for 2 .

Our #1 choice in Hampton Roads area. Great arrival assistance by Rachel. Clean facilities. We'll be back in a month and hope they have a dock available. Thanks again for a wonderful visit.

Very convenient location and very well protected. The dockmasters Ally and Rachel are fantastic. They made our stay that much better, very accommodating and easy to talk to. Onsite facilities have been renovated and were immaculate. Bathrooms and showers are some of the best we’ve used. Walking distance to quite a few restaurants, Venture, Pour Girls, Marker 20 and a few others. Would definitely stay again!

Slips are a bit narrow with short finger piers- but with great do k help we were able to make it work just fine for our 44' sail boat - in spite of a crosswind! Nice facilities, though limited. Great location!

Very pleasant experience. Ally to dock lady was extremely nice. They are located right by a brew pub and there are numerous restaurants within a few blocks. There was a street fair with over 30 vendors one block away that was interesting. First time in Hampton but look forward to returning.

We were the only ones here, so we were able to get a slip on the floating dock which was great because it was around the corner from the brewery. We therefore weren't blasted by the music. The bathrooms and showers were newly renovated, and as previously stated there is one washer and dryer on site uses an app for payment. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The brewery offers a different special each day. The food was good and price was very reasonable.

Super convenient location and very protected. The staff, Rachel and Allie, are fantastic. They made our stay that much better. Great communication and very accommodating. Onsite facilities are well kept and immaculate. Bathrooms and showers are some of the best we’ve used. Walking distance to quite a few restaurants, NASA museum with IMAX, and an easy Uber to other local attractions and groceries. We will definitely be back and prefer this to staying in Norfolk hands down. Way closer to the Chesapeake for staging to round Hatteras. Channel coming in is well marked, deep, and wide.

Very pleased with this marina. Miss Rachel, the manager and dock master was very helpful when I called for information and greeted us at the pier. She helped us tie to the dock and provided a tour of the facility amenities. Price was very reasonable and location near restaurants was great. Highly recommend it.

Excellent stay. Super nice employees.

Allie communicated with us thoroughly in advance of our arrival and made our docking simple and easy. The rest rooms and showers were very clean and the marina was very close to downtown restaurants and services. Just two blocks to the Virginia Air & Space Science Center and the pedestrian walkway restaurant district. A short Uber ride to the Mariner’s Museum in Newport News. We would stay here again.

Terrific Staff. Excellent stop while cruising the east coast. Will come again.

Spent a pleasant few days here heading North. Rachael and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean, has showers and a laundry room. It’s conveniently located on the downtown waterfront with access to a great brew pub and lots of dining options. There’s also another marina that you pass coming and going to fuel up. It’s an easy in and out stop with friendly dockhands.

Second time coming here, again, it was awesome! Will return for sure!!

Update 10/18/25 - Anoter Great Stay. One of our favorites stops! Update 05/17/25 - Great stay. Staff was helpful and attentive. We love the Docks! 10/18/25-Good stay. Quiet and a great brewery just behind the docks. There was no one to meet us and help tie up, but other than that a good stay. We've stayed here a few times and always like it. Easy access to downtown.
