Nice floating concrete docks with electricity and water at a great rate. Nice cleats and rub rails. Can be rather loud until 2am when the Harbor Island bars finally close, didn't bother me but GF couldn't sleep till the music stopped. Also, can be a bit bouncy for our 39' trawler as many small weekend boaters go in and out of Hillsboro River. Overall, we'll be back because the downtown Tampa location can't be beat.

The staff was great and you can't beat the location (or the price). I saw other reviews mentioning the loud music coming from the bars, but it didn't seem to bother us. The gate to the dock locks at 10:30 PM, which is great for security, but it doesn't open until 9:30 AM the next day. The problem is there is no way to open it from the inside (code keypad is on the outside). We had to get a person on the outside to enter the code to let us out.

Good overall. Our dock connection for power and water was nearly unreachable but we made it work. Saturday evening is very loud due to the nearby restaurants with club music but otherwise a good stay plenty of restaurants nearby easily within walking distance

Great floating dock facility with restroom. Music blaring from American Social made it hard to sleep with any window open. Saturday night was a big party, I guess it wouldn’t be as loud during the week.

Great location and Micheal, the dockmaster, is a great help and interesting to talk to. It can be a little noisy at night, but it is because you are in the middle of a lot of nightlife. Great floating concrete docks, with water, electric and 1 restroom.

Restrooms and lack of boater's showers and no WiFi were real disappointments. The dockhands were 5 star, personable, helpful, ready to help. Slips were also excellent.

The location is excellent with great access to all the fun in Tampa. The dock attendant was very helpful when we arrived. The only problem we had was that the garbage didn’t get picked up from the docks. There are only three cans and they fill up quickly when the docks are full. We stayed three days and they never got emptied. Other than that, it was fantastic.

About Tampa Convention Center Marina

Come to Seddon Channel and tie up at one of two floating docks for a few hours or stay overnight. Just a few steps puts you at The Sail, a pet-friendly waterfront eatery and bar on Tampa's Riverwalk. Walk from there to: The Florida Aquarium, Amalie Arena, Tampa Bay History Center, Channelside, Tampa Museum of Art, Curtis Hixon Park, or the Glazer Children's Museum. Visitors can also take advantage of free rides with the Downtowner or hop aboard the Tampa Streetcar and ride to Ybor City.
