Wonderful little town. This place is quite during the week but it is party central on the weekend. It definitely was Sunday Funday!

Nice marina. Great stop before you get to Delaware City Marina and off the Chesapeake Bay. Great floating docks. Clement the dockmaster is great at helping you get in and tied up and with local knowledge. Restaurant on site is very good and tiki bar is fun. Nice stop. Would stay there again.

We are about halfway through the Great American Loop and this has been our best overall marina experience yet. Excellent service at both the marina and restaurant, everyone was very attentive to their guests. The marina docks are well maintained. The restaurant offers a very diverse menu and oh so good, we ate there both nights of our stay.

The Dockmaster gets 5 stars!! We arrived on a super busy Sunday afternoon. It was so noisy he couldn't here us on the radio, but he pointed us to the right slip and expertly helped us dock. The best dock hand we've had. The marina is a great place to stop if you want to eat/drink out. We enjoyed seeing Chesapeake City and going to the C&D Canal Museum and took a long bike ride on the dirt road that runs on the South side of the canal. The marina does not allow you to cook outside on your boat or clean your boat. There were only two bathrooms/showers and they were both dirty for most of our stay. They were clean on the morning of our departure. The floating docks were new and nice.

Ryan the dock hand is a true professional. Also is a great ambassador for the marina. The only downside was the price for the slip on the first night was very high. The second night was more reasonable. Both were weeknights so I don't understand the reason for premium pricing. The restaurant was pretty good. Had an excellent crab cake. The town is quaint and has beautifully restored historic buidings.

We love this place, stop in any time we are in the area. The docks are excellent and you just can’t beat the Chesapeake Inn and all it has to offer. Great food and live entertainment.. Clem the dockmaster is the icing on the cake, knowledgeable, helpful and always going above and beyond

I can’t tell you how wonderful this is. The Dock Master was immensely, helpful and cheerful. He got me a terrific slip. I had forgotten my power cables. (What a maroon!) and he found a spare for me. Wonderful restaurant excellent facilities. All around five stars.

Very nice marina with outstanding dock hands. Very lively with an active Tiki Bar, live music and good restaurants. Well protected harbor. And a walk into town is highly recommended. Lovely older homes in very nice condition.

The Chesapeake Inn Marina is located in the scenic Back Creek Basin and offers boaters a beautiful place to spend the day or stay the night. With the support of our expert marina staff, easily accessible amenities, and worry-free floating docks, you’ll have nothing but fun from tie up to cast off. We provide live music, slip-side food and drink service, and docking aid every day to ensure your satisfaction in an experience as unique as the Chesapeake Bay itself. Need a break from the boat? Feel free to take some time off the water and enjoy our historic town of Chesapeake City. With downtown just steps from the marina, its quaint streets offer unique shops, one-of-a-kind boutiques, and top-tier restaurants ready to make your retreat unforgettable.

Make it a day trip! Berth is free before 11pm and guests are accommodated on a first-come-first-serve basis. If the marina is full upon your arrival please take advantage of the Back Creek basin. Drop an anchor in its secluded lagoon adjacent to our docks and we will pick you up on our water taxi, free of charge.

Thinking of staying the night? You do not need to make a reservation to spend a night with us, but if you want to better your chances of receiving dockage, we recommend you reserve a slip. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and only for those intending to stay overnight. To reserve a slip feel free to reach out over the phone, via email, or through Dockwa. Power, water, and shower access are included in your dockage fee.
