Due to weather I would be entering the marina late at night and well after hours. No worries though. The staff sent me all the information needed to navigate the channel, find my slip, and secure my vessel for the night. Many thanks!

Always a pleasure! Best views of the Bay Bridge and boats entering Annapolis. Slip was as protected as possible considering how close to the channel we were. Mike is a first-class marina manager who appeared out of nowhere every time he was needed.

Horn Point is definitely uniquely situated at the mouth of Back Creek, the Severn River, and the Bay which presents its challenges at times — but with our newest wave break — even our most outer 60’ slips have more protection (as well as the neighbors on the creek) depending on the wind and wave angles. Docks were in great shape. Dock master was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. He helped guide us in over the phone as it was our first visit to the area and there was quite a bit of traffic, he helped us dock and double checked our lines and overall made us feel at ease. Laundry facility and dock head were in great shape. All the patrons we came across were inviting. There was an onsite mobile coffee station which was delicious with adequate seating. Had a large grass area right off the dock for our dogs. Eastport is very walkable with great eatery/drinks and if you're up for a 20min walk you can cross the bridge and be in Annapolis proper with even more options. We look forward to coming back!

This marina is understaffed and exposed. It was hard to decide which was worse: the northerly and easterly winds that rolled us or the gawking idiots waking us as they sped by. The dockmaster is very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful, but overworked; he belongs in a much better marina than this one! Seedy-looking fishermen crowd the dock at night, and it is unclear, whether they are marina customers or interlopers from the nearby neighborhoods; they make it unsettling for a woman to walk on the dock alone at night. To cap it off, the slip next to ours was a construction site that was loud and dusty from early morning to the end of the workday, and the marina did not offer us anything—not even a reduction in the rental fee—in compensation. This would have been a 0- or 1-star review, but for the dockmaster, who really is a good guy.

While wake enforcement on Back Creek is managed by the City of Annapolis Harbormaster, we continue to advocate to their team for stronger compliance to improve conditions for all boaters.

Horn Point Harbor is a great location with many restaurants within walking distance. Our boat (53') was a bit large for the interior slips, so we were tied to the outside bulkhead. The harbormaster (Mike) warned us that we would be there before confirming our reservation - Thank you Mike! There is quite a bit of boat traffic, so we were thankful for the warning. What we didn't anticipate was the wave action from the south/southeast wind, which rocked us pretty good all night long. The docks are in acceptable condition, and the bathrooms were great. Free laundry too!

We enjoyed our stay at Horn Point. It is quiet with a nice view of the Bay. A pleasant 10-15 block walk to downtown Annapolis. My one suggestion is that the marina find an easier way to allow guests to sign into and use Wi-Fi. If this means the transient slip charge must be increased, so be it.

Great location and great views, we really enjoyed our stay. Facilities are nice but limited in number (2) so occasionally have to wait. Not all slips have 50 amp box so make sure you can adapt to 30 amp plugs or specify the slip. Mike got us situated. I would return.

We were very pleased with our stay at Horn Point. Its location was great and the generous slip size worked well with our boat. Mike was more than helpful when we tied up. I was part of a three person crew, two men and one woman.
Normally I would have been handling lines but having been injured I was limited in what I could do. I drove into the dock. The advice we got from Mike was spot on.
The location is good and for a boat with a trusther it was a piece of cake to back into out slip.
I'd definitely tie up here again.

Well situated marina on the south side of Eastport, walking distance to Davis' and Boatyard bar and grill. Easy to get to without all the hoopla of Annapolis, which is nice to avoid all the crowds. Annapolis is still accessible through the neighborhood and across the compromise st. bridge. The location and the view of the bay are the Marina's strengths as is the friendly staff. They reached out to us in advance to confirm the reservation and provide our slip assignment, along with a map, and how to get in touch with them if we needed to. We are return customers and will continue to be.

About Horn Point Harbor Marina
Built at the mouth of Back Creek; our marina basin faces the Chesapeake Bay, Severn River and Back Creek. Our eight foot thick asphalt pier and breakwater protect our slip holder’s boats from weather while allowing them the very best view of the open water in all of Annapolis. Our courtyard has been the setting for many gatherings including intimate weddings, corporate functions, and crowd pleasing barbeques.
Horn Point Harbor offers 55 slips ranging in size from 30 to 65 feet in length to annual leaseholders while maintaining transient dockage. We are able to accommodate yachts of 120 feet in length while drawing up to nearly 12 feet in depth – rare on the Bay! Our accommodations make Horn Point Harbor one of only three marinas in Annapolis able to provide dockage to large motor and sailing yachts! Our 120′ of open bulkhead space is a rarity in the Annapolis area and a perfect spot for large Catamarans as well as a dedicated 60 ft+ catamaran slip with a beam of just over 34 feet. Although it is great to have the space and view, its proximity to the Severn River means it will not always be calm as it is subject to wind and creek traffic.
Each slip has 30 to 100 amp electric, water. We also have restrooms and showers for slip holders. A marine pump out station for stored waste is available to transients and annual slip holders.
We have parking on-site and 4 dedicated (Blink Series 8 - ISO Model) EV charging stations.
