Flamingo Bay Marina at Taino Beach

Nice quiet small marina. Ferry leaves every hour during the day for easy access to port Lucaya restaurants and shops. Short walk across the street to pool and nice beach. Only complaint is that we were going to be charged $1/foot per day for electric. $46/day for us even though we only need a single 30amp for power. The Dockwa description says .55 cents per kilowatt hour but not the case. We were allowed to just use our solar and generator while cooking to save the money.

Really nice but it old and need work !!! Overall. Nice place if you don't mind earrings the shuttle and seafood !!!

Easy approach and helpful dockmaster Terrence made coming and going a breeze. We enjoyed access to the Taino Beach Club across the street and spent an afternoon lounging by the pool. Would be our first choice to stay when returning to the Lucaya area.

Good place to visit and the people could not have been nicer.

It's a nice, simple marina. The staff is lovely and Big Mama is the key to the island. The access to the adjoining resort really makes the stay worth it. The bathrooms are clean and the little shop in the lobby has some basic needs and souvenirs. The water was good and there is a nearby fuel dock. They advertise some things in the lobby that aren't accurate, like the beach bonfires that haven't been a thing since 2020 and sound like a blast. There is no lock on the shower door and it's co-ed. Be aware of that. They called a taxi for us, a guy named Valentine. I asked specifically if they took cards as we had no cash on us. I was assured they did. On arrival at our destination, Valentine said he didn't accept cards, so he drove us to an ATM, and he also "didn't have any change", so maybe don't use him.

What a great place to dock while on Grand Bahama. Being a small marina, you get to know other boaters and the amenities at the resort are well worth the reasonable price of dockage. The only negative is the weird setup of the bathrooms and shower-Coed with nowhere to change or put your stuff while you shower.
