Great trip / mini vacation. Resort was beautiful. Sean the Dock Master was amazing. Our stay was during the rare Noreaster in late May. Sean stayed on the dock all day ensuring the boats and docks were safe and secure. Meanwhile we were able to relax at the resort.

State of the art marina and very well protected. Dockmaster was extremely friendly and went above and beyond throughout our stay. First class operation with reasonable pricing for the area.

Great marina and excellent Dockmaster! Sean always goes above and beyond for his guests, from technical support to logistics to hospitality. The staff are fantastic and friendly, and there's always someone around to help catch lines (usually Sean) exactly when you need them! Overall a great experience!

Great stay at The Marina at Newport Harbor Island Resort. Sean the dock master was excellent, checking in with us prior to arrival and assisting with lines and power when we arrived. Marina has great floating docks. The resort is beautiful and very accommodating for those traveling with dogs. We will definitely try and book here again on return trips to Newport.

Love this marina! The dock staff is friendly, capable and accommodating. The location is great, walkable to downtown, but the resort provides free van and water taxi service. The resort amenities are very nice, as are the sunsets. We will be back!

Sean the Dockmaster is excellent! He kept in touch with us prior to docking and made sure our stay was safe and pleasant. The floating docks are new and in great condition. Food at the two restaurants is good. We made several trips into downtown using the convenient launch. We look forward to staying here again.

Sean the dockmaster is the best! stayed there for a short weekend. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The floating docks and power were perfect. There's plenty of depth in the water. The gym at the hotel is more than adequate. did not use the spa or indoor/ outdoor pool. The hotel restaurants were very good! It's close to town but not within walking distance. Ubers are readily available. They offer a shuttle however we used our dinghy.

We stayed for two nights in September 2024. All the other reviews mention how great Sean was and I have to say that is all true. He was good about confirming our reservations, arrival and departure times, and was friendly and competent with line handling on the docking with his crew. A good experience here.

We have stayed at this marina on many occasions and Sean (the Manager and Dockmaster) is very accommodating and makes sure your stay is always top-notch. We cant say enough good things and will be back next year.

Sean the dock master and manager of the marina is the best. He is very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It’s our favorite destination not only because we love the great views of the Newport harbor that the slips offer but the incredible service that Sean provides to his marina guests. Looking forward to coming back before the end of the season!

We stayed from July 3-7th 2024.
Sean the Dock Master and Tommy his assistant could not have made our trip more enjoyable. They are a class act. From being right at our slip as we turn in, to offering ice and pump out, taking our trash and asking do we need anything at all every time they saw us. They are on their game!
We saw another boat coming in on one engine during our stay. Sean sprang into action hopping in a tender to assist the captain. He then apologies for the very temporary chaos. In our travels by boat from Florida to RI we have never seen a dock master as professional as Sean. The Marina itself is quiet, protected and clean. A lovely relaxing place to visit.
