No issues this season. Very much appreciate the fresh water hoses throughout the area. For watercraft that are on hand carried trailers, a sign near the Mule Barn sandy beach (or perhaps a roped area) to remind beachgoers to leave an entry/exit path to/from the water would be nice. This year it was necessary to thread the Laser on its hand trailer through openings in the blankets and sunbathers. Thx!

About Sail Newport Sailing Center
The Sail Newport docks are located on the southwest side of Newport Harbor in Fort Adams State Park. While enjoying one of the best views of the Newport Bridge and Sailing Capital of the World, guests of the Sail Newport docks will be steps away from historic Fort Adams, home to the legendary Newport Folk Festival, Jazz Festival, and The Ocean Race Newport stopover. A dinghy ride across the harbor takes you to downtown Newport, or take one of the convenient water taxis.
Sail Newport maintains and manages events for all of the piers except the east side "T" pier, which is reserved for intermodal transport and select commercial vessel pick-up and drop-off services. All touches on the pier must be prearranged with Sail Newport and there is a fee for use.
Booking Info
Transient dockage or nightly dockage is only available if the vessel is part of an event.
