It’s a great place for transient docking. The safe harbor crew are very friendly and helpful. The marina is very nice and well maintained. Chelo’s is a bonus with live entertainment and great food. We will definitely be taking advantage of this opportunity again in the future.

Great stay! Friendly and helpful staff. Chelo’s restaurant was right in the marina parking lot with live music playing and several outside bars overlooking the bay. For anyone staying overnight they have great facilities and a pool for the little ones. It was a great stopover for a family out for the day or a quick overnight! BIG shout out to Jake and his team for the consistently, welcoming culture at this marina!

It was wonderful! Facilities are clean, modern, and Jacob and his crew went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Even helped us find our slip. Far exceeded my expectations!

Great Staff, very helpful while docking, they set up our lines, power and water! Gave us an arrival gift. The marina bathrooms were very clean. Very close to many restaurants, Highly recommend this marina!

nice marina, clean facilities, Chelo's bar and music a hit. if docked near the channel, it is an unusually long pier walk to access the shore. The gate-access system is clumsy. Our pier manager, Jake, is a great guy and very helpful.

Great marina for a long weekend visit. Jake and his crew have been readily available and truly splendid. Marina is clean, quiet, even as Chelos restaurant jumps along in the background! We took a 2 mile Uber up town for breakfast and shopping on Main St and had several great meals and drinks. We highly recommend this Marina and town for a stopover any time. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was great. As always, the staff at Cowesett is amazing. The facilities are well kept and there is a real relaxed vibe around the marina. A special thanks to Jake for an awesome slip. We always have a good time at Cowesett.

The staff was great. Very helpful. Chelos was solid and the facilities were also good and clean. However, nobody enforces quiet time after 11PM. It’s likely a losing battle and too counter to the owners sensibilities. The woman on the boat next to us was dropping fbombs after she drank a case of Coors Light. When I asked them to turn down the music at 1145 she proudly announced that she planned to party till 3am. They were partying on the dock with music blasting until 130. On Sunday morning she told her neighbor that she had gone to bed early. She made sure she said it loud enough for me to hear. So the lesson , avoid Cowesett if you want to sleep especially on Friday or Saturday.

Lots of positives. Friendly, helpful staff (but see below), good facilities, restaurant and shops store on-site. Only gripe as a transient single hander was the difficulty in getting the person on the VHF to give me clear directions on how to find the right portion of the marina and then the right dock. Someone should take the time to write out a script for people who are first timers. Would be appreciated.
