We had an issue with our boat and coasted into the marina with some very kind boaters there to help us. Chris the head of security also was very kind and understanding that we coasted into a fuel dock and stayed for the night.

The staff at the marina were excellent. We birthed at E67. We draft 5 ‘ an initially grounded in the slip. I hadn’t been to JB in many years and found it to be a bit run down at our slip area. We had a bit of trouble getting electrical connection as it seemed the terminals were a bit corroded. After 3-4 attempts at hook up all seemed good. We did notice at other areas there were new floating docks they look great. We stopped at the gas dock to pump out. The staff were excellent! But the $20 charge for a pump out is a bit high. Over our travels we have found many now do not charge for pump out or at most $10-12 is the norm. We are members and took advantage of the no charge reciprocity of no fee d for transient. It’s a wonderful perk thank you. I maybe a little hard on the review only because I take pride in being a SH member and I want to see SH being the Cadillac facility.

Chris provided exceptional service and went out of his way to ensure our overnight accommodations went smoothly.

Great Marina on the Shores of Lake St Clair. We were docked on the Seawall which wasn’t Ideal, however we made it work. Great Marina and little to no wake movement. Easy fuel and pump-out. Great Stay!

Beautiful and well kept marina. I was given very clear instructions every step of the way to navigate to my slip. We went to Zeph's, Mike's and Watermark Restaurants. All were amazing. Also had a nice pool day with the welcoming members of Jefferson Yacht Club. We will be back soon.

We had a little problem when we arrived but it all got solved. Our inverter went bad and we were able to get it replaced as well as get some other repairs done while at Jefferson Beach. Chris, the transient manager, was very attentive and helpful. Everyone on the docks was great. Nick, at the fuel dock did an excellent job with our very skittish intake (no spills!). We had lots of help from the courtesy golf carts. Bathrooms and showers were excellent. Easy access to restaurants.

Member of Safe Harbor at Toledo Beach so the stay at Jefferson Beach was complimentary. Excellent, well maintained marina. Great communication with Chris. Professional staff throughout.

The team at Jefferson Beach went above and beyond, hard-working young men, very helpful when we arrived. Helped us fuel. Would highly recommend, what was it again.

I have been at Jefferson Beach Marina since 2011 and have a great experience overall. The marina continues to make improvements, the service staff is friendly and helpful. I would also like to give a big shout out to the service team (mechanics) led by Ron Jiovani who have always done great work on my last two boats and have helped me out in several situations for urgent repairs.

UPDATE - we did re-book our night that ended up being 2! Experiencing an engine issue, the marina got someone out that afternoon so we could get underway the next day. Staff couldn't be nicer. Vince @ the marina was super quick responding. Great facility, clean and pretty easy to get to. Restaurants close by and in the Marina. Highly recommend but I think they are super busy in the summer months. Post before we booked - We did not end up staying due to the weather, so my rating is more on the customer service. The marina was very quick responding to our messages and inquiries. Our slip info and bathroom codes were sent well in advance as well as a contact phone number if needed. Unfortunately, due to the changing weather, we had to cancel our reservation and that was confirmed within minutes. We will definitely try to get to this marina in the future!!

We were not given dock assignment prior to arriving. Map of the marina was not in a readable format (dock numbers so blurry you couldn’t even guess what they were). And no one monitored radio on arrival. We had to dock at the gas dock area to determine any instructions. Highest gas prices we saw in the entire month of boating around Michigan. Put us in a slip with a number of seasonal boaters who were VERY inexperienced, and frankly unsafe. Particularly when one boater near us was cooking on an open flame on the back of their boat, we were afraid to leave our boat unattended. Witness numerous very unsafe docking incidents nearby (using pilings as bumpers, breaking 4x4 dock poles). Bathrooms, facilities appeared to be very nice. However, we never used them. We will not ever come to this marina again.

There were no dock hands to help us dock so at least another boater was kind enough to help us. No one from the marina came out or contacted us. We needed to walk to the marina office just to get the bathroom code they gave us. No welcome package, Wi-Fi code etc. No information at all. When we did go up to the office and ask for it, they were genuinely surprised that no one had given us this information. It was 83° in Sunny the day we were there and walking to the office and then to the service office and trying to find someone to help us with our engine issue. Ended up being a five mile walk in the hot sun. Was not pleasant. It is a huge chore to do anything at the Marina because you are so far from everything. That evening we went out and had to walk over half a mile just to meet our Uber and the same one that Uber dropped us off at the boat, well a half a mile away from the boat. We don't mind walking. Walking we do it all the time but to do anything here is it ridiculously long walk! I would not come here again. Also, the service department was not helpful and the other marinas we contacted in the area referred us back to Jefferson Beach, they told us they don't really have experience working with Detroit diesels. We needed to walk at least 5 mi just to try to find service and go back and forth from our boat. This would not have been so bad if it was not 83° and blazing hot sun! We actually found it hard to believe that they don't have some type of system to help people. We couldn't even go to West Marine to buy the things we needed for the boat because we couldn't carry them from their front office if we had them delivered. Just not a good experience at all.

The crown jewel of marinas on the nautical mile of Lake St Clair. From every member of staff to the complete service offered by facility. They are attentive and accommodating to all levels of boats and boaters.

Location was great, Dock help was fantastic.

It was too much walking to get from one restaurant to another. All of the gates linking them together are all chained up.

Excellent facility with brand new floating docks, really nice bathrooms that are clean and well maintained. Vincent and the staff made us feel like family and the gas dock crew are super efficient and helpful.
