Trade Wind was given the royal treatment at the dock in Oyster Bay! We had help docking and the spot was perfect.

The marina staff was friendly and helpful. The booking process was also easy via Dockwa. The mooring was missing the pick up stick so it was difficult to pick up and the growth not only made the boat dirty but cut my hands.

Great experience at Oyster Bay Marine Center! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us right to our mooring with ease. The launch service was quick, comfortable, and made getting to shore a breeze. Highly recommend this marina for excellent service and hospitality!

Easy to book. Great launch pilots.

Absolutely horrible. Hailed OBBC 5 times for location of mooring. Got 5 different locations. Moorings were barely readable and never found mooring. Launch operator didn't know where mooring location was (CA 14). After 45 minutes of searching we left with a disappointed crew.

Knowing the mooring ball number before arrival made everything so easy.

Went to Coopers Bluff for the Jimmy Buffett tribute show. Great time and the experience was great.

We booked a mooring. Arrived on time and called the dockmaster. He gave the mooring number but we were unable to find it. Called twice and the dockmaster gave us vague directions. After 30 minutes of searching we gave up and left. No help available.

Poor communication on radio to confirm request3 hours prior. Requsted assistance to find mooring and never received help. When found it, there was another boat on it. 2nd request for mooring, requested assistance to find it. No response. After more than 30 min of looking just picked up another. Never used launch service because obviously very understaffed.

Great service. The staff were prompt and courteous.

Severely understaffed with Launch Operators. They used to run 4 launches all day and Saturday there was only one operating until people started loudly complaining about the long wait times. Then a second operator magically showed up. $78 for a short term mooring is incredibly expensive when most North Shore Marinas are charging much less. Very disappointing visit to one of our (formerly) favorite venues.

I usually do not write reviews, particularly at marinas which I know is a very hard business. But I feel I have to this time. After 20 years of cruising on the LI Sound and elsewhere on the East Coast my experience at the Oyster Bay Marine Center was far and away the worst. I came there this season for a couple of days stay and was shocked at how unhelpful the staff was in helping me find my mooring. (They appear to be seriously understaffed and have too few launches and too many moorings. ) When I first arrived I spent 45 minutes on my boat wandering aimlessly around the mooring field getting no help. Only when someone from my own yacht club who had undergone the same experience an hour earlier called me was I able to find my mooring. And it got worse from there. Over my two days stay the delays in launch service were shocking. I heard on the radio that the whole place was in a virtual state of chaos. I will not return and I urge everyone else to find an alternative.
