We were the only boat there on Friday night and had to cut our stay short due to inclement weather. The staff were understanding and helpful. We've always had a good experience here and will be back a few more times this summer.

Very nice stay. Great dock hand (Gray) upon arriving. Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is no help available from anyone upon departure! Don’t come in until 9am

The Docks were filthy with Goose and bird droppings. No apparent attempt to clean. The men’s room had no paper towels to dry your hands . With less than 1/3rd occupancy we wanted to leave at 12PM to purchase something from a favorite store and were told we would have to pay for the day! Paying for 2 nights ( We arrived at 6:30PM) so no dock help were there to assist it seemed to get 1 hour was not asking to much.

Great marina! As new boaters making our first crossing to a new marina, we were nervous about where we would be docking. The reservation staff was super helpful and placed us at a t-dock so we could just glide right in. They were also very quick to respond to our inquiries and changes when our plans were delayed. The dick hands were also very helpful and friendly, making the whole experience a breeze. Beautiful location with great restaurants, bars and shops all within feet. Looking forward to returning this summer!

The marina is in a great location to visit the town or catch the LIRR to see more of the island. We were there during the week and some places were starting to slow down after season. We still found plenty to do for a few days.
The ferry wakes cause a roll in the marina basin but not too violent. They do calm down at night.

Nice facility - great solid floating docks in great condition. Shower/bath facilities are nice, really hot water & great pressure. Not a full service marina, no fuel dock, no ice, few or no dock hands, etc. Note that it is not as protected as it looks, one side looks like a seawall, but is actually just a pier of pilings with buildings on it - from time to time, a large boat will go by and you'll get slammed back & forth in its wake for a minute or two as the wake rebounds off of the seawall. Staff very kindly let me stay an extra hour when there was no wind yet for the next leg of my trip - thank you very much!

Bathrooms and comfort stations, including the showers are not adequate for the amount of boats they can dock!
They were also not attended .
Men’s room does not have urinals hence the long lines including for the people just urinate. Everyone waiting for a stall to use.
Docking was easy as they communicated the necessary information very well and they were responsive!

When Offsounding Sailing event arrives every year with over 50 SAILBOAT vessels in less than 12 hours... and each vessel has 5 to 8 sailors on it.. That creates an enormous 250 to 400 person demand for a small municipal facility. We pride ourselves on cleanliness, and our bathrooms are maintained from 9am to 5pm in a very clean manner hence our clean reviews. The issues that arose is due to the sailing event overloading our facility when our staff is not on site overnight. Thank you for staying with us, and hope you enjoyed the stay in Greenport. Dock hands very helpful especially with the wind. We traveled with two other boats and one boat was not able to dock near us. There was empty spots on both sides of our boats - it would've been nice if we could've been closer to them. Otherwise, everything was great.

Nice people. Excellent docks and premier location. If you need two 50 amp power sources to attain 240 volts, make sure to specify that requirement in your reservation. Some outlets only deliver 213v with two 50 amp plugs.

That is correct that our floating docks are on a 208v minimum system, the only 240v minimum system is available on the yacht pier. For future refence please ensure you bring your 100amp single 4pin 240v shore power and place that in your special request in order for us to accomodate you. The dock staff was efficient and friendly. The dock and grounds are well kept. The restrooms and showers however are old, neglected and dirty. They clearly need to be cleaned on a.more frequent basis. The marina staff were unable to assist when we had difficulty making a reservation through Dockwa. They need to have a mechanism to take a reservation over the phone when problems with the Dockwa app. process occur.

About Mitchell Park Marina
Mitchell Park Marina is located in the center of the waterfront Village of Greenport. The marina contains 60 floating slips and a 640' standing pier. The floating slips can accommodate vessels up to 80'. The standing pier can accommodate up to 250' and offers single phase 208V and 240V electric as well as three phase 480V electric. All overnight stays are made in advance and through Dockwa.com (No reservations are taken for day stays). Reservations can be requested for 7 nights or less. Any requests greater than 7 nights need special approval by marina staff. Mitchell Park also contains a historic Carousel which is open year round, as well as an Ice Rink during the winter months.
CHECK OUT: Check out is PRIOR to 11 AM. If you wish to check out later than 11am, the request must be placed at the time of your original reservation request. We reserve individual slips months in advance, and chances are your slip will have an arrival immediately after your departure time.
