Great location but service could be better. No coffee cups in the AM, just pods and a coffee machine so bring your own cup from your boat! We were not explained there is a fob key we can borrow to go out at night. Transient far from main building. Facilities just OK. Main restaurant was still closed for the season.

The floating docks are EXTREMELY slippery in the morning dew. I slipped three times walking to the boat. The docks are in poor state of repair.

Safe Harbor needs to continue improving this property. Our dock was old, narrow, rickety and loud. The bathrooms are a very long walk. The shower was not clean. And, it was expensive. The cost is equivalent to staying at an expensive hotel. If I paid that much for a hotel I’d assume the bathroom floor and shower would be clean and the quality of the facilities would be high. That is not the case with Safe Harbor Haverstraw. It wasn’t worth it despite the staff being very nice which is the only reason I gave it a three star instead of two.

First time here with our boat. My dad used to keep his sailboat here years ago. A little dated hopefully safe harbor Will update it. The docks get scorching HOT and burned our feet as well as my dog. Nevertheless we have an amazing weekend! Very accommodating! Thank you!

Excellent Customer Service. Upon arrival we were greeted by a deck hand, Jayden. The deck hand was extremely helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable. The marina is well maintained and very clean. The pool was perfect and very refreshing. The bar staff were very friendly and accommodating. And the band Saturday night was very good. This was our second stay of the season. Definitely will be coming back.

Huge marina(1000) slips. A really wonderful staff. Helpful in all respects. Easily accessible fuel and pump out dock on entry or exit. Excellent outdoor dining restaurant on the water. Only negative are the docks! Very long, LOUD aluminum (not well screwed down) and very slippery when wet with puddles to slosh through.

We enjoyed our stay at Safe Harbor Haverstraw. Well protected, floating docks, responsive staff and great restaurants within easy biking distance. We enjoyed this marina so much that after completing our Great Loop, we are contemplating changing our home marina to SH Haverstraw.

Fuel by appointment only? During a visit last year a bolt projecting out of the hinge in the fuel dock gouged the side of my hull. General Manager agreed to work with the Insurance Company, but will not return phone calls.
Another trip on a friend's boat, he finds that gas is by appointment only, reception is tepid, restaurant isn't open, overall unimpressed.
This used to be a fantastic location, and many old boaters on the river remember feeling welcomed here. This is just another small marina to be consumed by the corporate monster.
One star, only because the kid who grabbed the lines was good, and tried to be helpful - otherwise it would be zero stars. Clean shower.

The minimum boat LOA is 20ft.
Please note: at Safe Harbor Haverstraw there is no long term dockage allowed. Complimentary use of the pool for Safe Harbor Marina Members is included with their stay. Pool daily rate for non-Safe Harbor Marina Members is $30 per boat.
