Picked up an overnight ball in Deadman’s Bay. Enjoyed snorkeling and the beach in SE corner of bay. Had a fantastic dinner at Drakes Steakhouse. Be aware there is no dingy dock. Very unpleasant experience beaching dingy in rough surf while dressed for dinner! I encourage the resort to make the small investment.

The moorings themselves are well kept and Great Harbour is a very calm and pleasant place to overnight. But getting from both Great Harbour and Deadman's Bay to the marina dinghy dock requires going around points into the unprotected waters of the Channel and is very rolly. We weren't able to stay dry on the way over to dinner even at minimal speed and the way back in the dark was a bit hairy. Unless they start offering tenders to dinner guests (which, with the prices, they really should), I would only have dinner here if you are willing to get a slip or it's exceptionally calm with a good moon for the ride back.

Got a mooring in Deadman on Peter Island and there was no good options in terms of getting on to the island with a dingy. Spoke with Peter Island Resort who seemed unsympathetic and unhelpful. Felt pretty unwelcome.

The most amazing resort. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The dock guys are great. Craig helped us get safely on and off the dock. We loved our dinner at Drake steakhouse. Food was superb and our waiter, Christopher was excellent. He had some great recommendations. We will return.

This was our second year in a row! 2 night on the dock were the grand finally to our week charter! It was better than last year. Special thank Craig and the Dock Managment of the Marina for going the extra mile!! The new Pelican is amazing. See you next year!

They would not allow access to the beach. Only to restaurant and sports courts. Not worth the cost!

Good day Gary sorry about the property is divided into two parts. On the resort side you have limited access to the restaurant and spa with reservations. On the yacht club side you have access to all amenities once you're a marina guest or if you purchased day passes. Peter Island is one of the nicer marinas I’ve experienced. We tried for a slip, but could only get a mooring, choosing one in Deadman’s Bay, a gorgeous spot. Went to the resort for lunch at The Drunken Pelican, which was some of the best food we had across the islands. Gorgeous facilities, but a bit pricey if you got a mooring and wanted access to the pool, etc. Nice market / gift shop as well. Limited restrooms, and communications with the staff before arriving was difficult (voicemail full, no response to email), hence loss of 1 star. Would however return and get a slip if available.
