Tucked away in the NE corner of the harbor provides good protection. Docks are fine and bathrooms are clean. The grounds could definitely use some “beautification” or greenery since it’s all asphalt. Staff is helpful. Up top bar is a nice addition with very reasonable drink prices. As far as Newport goes, it’s probably the best “value” since prices elsewhere are insane.

Great spot - Easy walk to lots of fun . Clean bathrooms . Great bartender upstairs in the yacht club. We will definitely be back !

We had a wonderful stay at Newport Yacht Club (NYC). My dock space was described to me in advance so that I could have my dock lines in the right place and I was ready to dock. Thanks for making me look good NYC. No leas than four dock hands came out to get me docked smoothly, connect me with elec. and bring stairs for my wife and I to smoothly disembark. It was my first trip th Newport… we almost went to Block instead, but I'm so glad we came. We arrived on a race night, there was a chef on duty and we bought our dinner right at the club. That was just what we needed. NYC is the GOAT. Five stars.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful location a little bit removed from the craziness yet just a short walk into town. The facilities are welcoming with a rooftop terrace, bar and stunning views. A big shoutout too for the women’s bathrooms which were modern and spotless. Compared to some of the other places in Newport, it was a joy to take a shower here.

When we want a slip in Newport, NYC is always our first pick. Nice facility, location, service (docking assistance much appreciated). Love that you can grab a bite at the clubhouse any night. Roof deck is large with commanding view of the harbor.

I'm a member here, but I'm not lucky enough to have a permanent slip. I uses transient slips throughout the year, and occasionally live aboard for a night or two. NYC has very nice, recently renovated facilities. The restrooms and showers are available 24x7, and only a short walk from the docks. The dock steward and club steward are very professional, accommodating, and well organized. The club has a nice lounge with a beautiful view and decent, reasonably priced food. Lounge hours can be unpredictable.

I would recommend Newport Yacht Club highly. The facility was quite nice. Location which is at the heart of Newport is also a plus. The club members and staff were also very helpful and accomodating.
