Duncan the harbor master did an excellent job. We always love our visit to Portage Point Inn Marina. It’s a step back in time. A time to relax.

Portage Point is a quiet little place in a beautiful setting. The Inn part has closed down. There is a great pool and hot tub located where the bathrooms are, but they are quite a distance from the slips. There is shoaling on the starboard side as you enter the fairway (it would have been nice to know that BEFORE we grounded there!). The staff is friendly and caught our lines. There isn't much to do in this area other than a public beach beside the slips. You can walk through the neighborhood to get to the Lake Michigan beach too. There is also a huge sand dune behind the marina that you can climb if you have the stamina for that!

wonderful resort with beaches, infinity pool and hot tub. pizza and sandwiches on site. bring bikes if you want to get into town. would definitely return ! ❤️

Very nice people, nice beach, but facilities have been neglected. It was kind of depressing to see such a beautiful building fall into such disrepair.

Bathrooms are a long ways from slips. No ice available. Helpful staff.

This resort was extremely accommodating to our group for our first (and last minute) time visiting. Duncan went out of his way to make us feel welcome. I was very impressed with the facilities - the pool, hot tub and beach. We can't wait to come back and make this a regular stop on our boating adventures. What a treat!

The marina is part of the Portage Point Resort, which is an early 20th century lakeside inn. The inn and infrastructure are undergoing some needed renovations. The docks are in good shape. There is sufficient water depth for most recreational boats. There is a spot at the entrance to the marina that was 7’ deep. Inside the depths were 10’ and more. Duncan, the dock master, was excellent. He even drove us into town to get some ice.

It was a nice stop for two nights to relax and enjoy the pool and hot tub. Onekama is about 4 miles around the lake with 4-5 places to eat. The resort restaurant has a very limited schedule and we were not able to get ice. Nice showers by the pool.

Quiet, peaceful. Hope to see the renovations in near future. Water clear. Near Lake MI entrance. Although a bit of a walk to main building, the shower/toilet facilities were private and luxurious. Pool looked amazing. Shuffle board courts, clean sandy beach. Gorgeous lush green manicured lawns. No restaurant open on day of our visit.

True hidden gem. There are nice amenities but they're a bit of ways from the slips themselves. Portage Lake is clean and clear.

We love this place for our annual getaway from reality (work) and will be back again next summer and many more to come! Thank you for a setting that helps us relax and enjoy life!
