The place is beautiful and the Dockmaster Les is great

Lovely mooring. We didn’t use their other services.

We stayed at the Halsey Marina in 3 Mile Harbor. Small, quaint and beautifully maintained! Clean, quiet and relaxing. In addition the service by the Dockmaster and experienced Captain, Les, and his dockhand was exceptional. We will try to stay there anytime we are in that harbor!!

Beautiful mooring field, easy to access and friendly staff at the marina. Thank you for a great visit. So nice to have a mooring vs anchor option for an overnight stay. We will be back soon.

We have returned to Seacoast marinas year after year for 15 years for a reason. These are excellent, well-managed facilities. I want to keep Halseys a secret so I won’t mention that Halseys and its dockmaster are the best on the planet. But, I am willing to disclose that the moorings at Three Mile Harbor Marina are great: easy to find, maintained, plenty of space between moorings, the on-shore facilities are clean and spacious and the surroundings are exquisite. We will be back.

We rented a mooring, which was fine. Three mile harbor is lovely. However the charge of $100 seems excessive particularly since THE MOORING WAS MORE THEN 0.75nm FROM THE MARINA AND FACILITIES. Nowhere was this mentioned in the description of the facility.
Marina Response:
Hi Scott, thank you for your review. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay on our transient moorings in Three Mile Harbor. We have taken your feedback into account and have updated our pre-arrival information to clarify the travel distance from the moorings to the dinghy dock. Our transient moorings are located as close as possible to our dinghy dock, but are still in the main deepwater mooring field, requiring about a 5 minute dinghy ride. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. We hope to welcome you back to our transient moorings in Three Mile Harbor in the future.

We ended up at Halsey marina the dock master was amazing the nicest gentlemen ever. The marina was so peaceful and just a uber ride to Town. If you are looking to decompress this is the place if you’re looking to party go elsewhere!!!!

A gem of a place! Beautiful, well-maintained marinas in a protected harbor. Helpful, friendly and very responsive hospitality by the dock master and his crew. We will return!

I have moored and docked at many marinas in my 40 years of boating. But my recent stay on the mooring at East Hampton Three Mile Harbor Marina and Moorings was memorable. Every time I asked for assistance, or an accommodation, their staff always helped. And after we were done, they always asked what else they could do for me, and meant it! The harbor is a peaceful and beautiful and very uncrowded. Their moorings were well kept and easy to grab and their facilities were outstanding, spotless and nicely decorated. There also is a proper ships store on the property that carried most everything! I highly recommend this marina and harbor over staying in all the nearby harbors!
Marina Response:
Hi Matthew, thank you very much for your wonderful review! We’re so happy that you had an enjoyable time staying with us in our beautiful Three Mile Harbor. We appreciate your clear communication when asking for assistance, and your understanding as we put together solutions for you. It was lovely to meet you, your wife, and your adorable dog. We hope to welcome you back to our moorings soon, happy boating!

We had a very nice overnight on the mooring. I was a little disappointed in the physical marina though. The dinghy dock is an accident waiting to happen. I'm surprised you take that risk in this day an age. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lounge and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. I guess I was expecting something more grandiose for the $9.00/ft it would have cost me had I taken a slip instead of a mooring.
Marina Response:
Hi Matt, thank you very much for your review. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay out on our moorings. We appreciate your honesty and have taken your feedback into account. We have made changes to the dinghy dock as of Tuesday 8/5/2025. The dinghy dock has been widened to increase the stability of the dock, now making it easier and safer to load and unload your dinghy. The $8.75/ft transient rate is the weekend dockage rate across all of our marina locations. Next time, we would love to show you all the different amenities and experiences our four marina locations have to offer. We hope to welcome you back to Three Mile Harbor in the future!

We were a mooring customer traveling with 14 boats. Some were at your docking facilities, most were at moorings. We were planning on having dinner at Botswick on the Harbor which I understand is pert of your organization. We were informed that we would be required to $30 per dinghy to tie up so we could have dinner. I find that unacceptable. Peter DeRosa Fleet Captain Smith Cove Yacht Club
Marina Response:
Hi Mr. DeRosa, thank you for being understanding on our phone call over this matter. We were very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your Yacht Club’s experience with the Three Mile Harbor Moorings and Marinas reservations. We understand the frustration that comes with boating plans going awry. We always strive to accommodate all our transient guests to the best of our ability, and we apologize for missing the mark this time. We are very grateful for the Smith Cove Yacht Club coming out to join us to enjoy the Three Mile Harbor Fireworks. That weekend is one of the busiest weekends across all of our facilities, including at Harbor Marina where Bostwick’s on the Harbor is located. All boaters staying on our transient moorings get complimentary access to the dinghy dock and clubhouse at Three Mile Harbor Marina, south of the mooring field. There is a restaurant within walking distance called “The Blend”, which we were glad to hear your group ended up having a great time at. We do not typically provide dinghy access for dock and dine at Harbor Marina as there is very limited space available. We would have loved to work with your group to accommodate your plans to visit Bostwick’s if we had been made aware of them in advance. Bostwick’s is a separate business and their staff did not communicate with our marina team. Since the SEA staff were not expecting your arrival at Harbor Marina, they were not prepared to accommodate the 10 dinghies in your group on short notice. Harbor Marina does not have a transient dinghy dock, so when you arrived near closing time our staff tried to accommodate your dinghies in a larger transient slip. While this is not our standard procedure, we tried our best to find a solution in the moment. We were also not aware that your group was on our transient moorings. The $30 quote was inaccurate and should have been $25 for smaller dinghies. We apologize for any inconvenience it caused. We hope that despite this experience, you still enjoyed your stay in East Hampton’s beautiful Three Mile Harbor. We look forward to welcoming you and the Smith Cove Yacht Club back again in the future. We wish you safe travels and happy boating! - The SEAincorp.com Reservations Team

We just returned from East hampton point marina. Great location, very clean facilities very accommodating staff. Got to see the fireworks which were fabulous despite a little cloudiness. Les the Dockmaster was right on top of everything. Always making sure that we had a good time and available to give out local information. Would definitely stay there again.

What a lovely little Marina. Pretty far into the harbor. Dockmaster was old school helpful and pleasant.

Three Mile Harbor is a beautiful, quiet location. It is a bit of a dinghy ride from the moorings to Three Mile Harbor Marina; however, the marina staff is very friendly and the bathrooms are clean and updated. This was our 2nd visit in 2 years; we will be back.

Nice marina, facilities were good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Restaurant, ship store, fuel dock were all well maintained.

by JON E. on Jul 05, 2025
Very well kept marina and Les couldn't have been any better to work with. He was more than a dockmaster. He was a consummate host.

Fantastic full service marina and boatyard. The staff here are fantastic, super nice and helpful and very welcoming. Bostwicks on the Harbor is an awesome restaurant right at the marina also !

Lovely . Friendly and helpful VHF 9/10 assistance.

by Gus B. on Sep 07, 2024
Halseys Marina was wonderful! From the moment we arrived Les was there to greet us and help us settle in. He made recommendations on places to eat, how to get around and anything else we needed to know. The clubhouse was very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Huge new washers and dryers completed the facility. When we left, Les was extremely caring as he knew I was nervous about heading back (the trip over was VERY rough) thank you again!!! We will be back!!!!

About East Hampton Three Mile Harbor Marinas and Moorings

-- New LOWER Rates for Transient Dockage 2026! --

Seacoast Enterprises Associates is a family business that owns and operates four marinas and the only 7 transient moorings in Long Island's East Hampton Three Mile Harbor. Of the four marinas: Harbor Marina, Halsey’s Marina, Gardiner’s Marina, and Three Mile Harbor Marina, each location provides a different set of amenities and experiences. The East Hampton and Amagansett villages are a short car ride away, home to renowned beaches and restaurants. All marina locations have trained staff on-hand ready to assist boaters, provide access to electric and water hookups, and free WiFi.

Harbor Marina is the first marina at the entrance of Three Mile Harbor. The marina’s waterside restaurant "Bostwick's On The Harbor" provides a lovely sunset dining experience. Harbor Marina is a full service marina with floating docks, dry rack, and a fuel dock that sells ValvTect branded gasoline and diesel. There is a ship’s store on location that offers a wide variety of goods, from tackle and bait to gifts and ice cream.

Halsey’s Marina is located in the southern half of the harbor. The marina has fixed docks, a quaint clubhouse with bathrooms, showers, and laundry, and a picnic area with grills. The basin is surrounded by nature preserves on three sides and affords peaceful natural views. The quiet and private atmosphere of Halsey’s Marina resembles a picturesque yacht club setting.

Gardiner’s Marina is located in the southern half of the harbor. The marina basin is newly-renovated, creating a larger space for more comfortable maneuvering into and out of slips. Gardiner’s Marina has bulkhead slips with floating finger piers, a modest clubhouse with bathrooms, showers, and laundry, a picnic area with grills, and allows for parking behind your boat. The marina’s close proximity on the west side to preserved wetlands offers uniquely beautiful views of the local environment.

Three Mile Harbor Marina is a full service marina and boatyard located in the southern end of Three Mile Harbor. Three Mile Harbor Marina provides slips in season, and year-round vessel storage and certified service for Mercury, Volvo Penta, Yamaha, and more. The marina has floating docks, a handicap-accessible clubhouse with bathrooms, showers, laundry, and grills. There is a ship’s store on location with an array of boating necessities including ice, snacks, bait, engine parts, and more.

The 7 transient moorings are 500lbs mushroom anchors located in the main deepwater mooring field of Three Mile Harbor. A stay on the transient moorings includes complimentary access to the dinghy dock and clubhouse at Three Mile Harbor Marina. The protected harbor provides calm waters, a dedicated watersports area, and lots of fellow boaters enjoying the Hamptons atmosphere. Please be aware that there is no launch service in Three Mile Harbor and it is a no-discharge zone.

Transient boaters are received in season between the operating hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, 7 days a week. Check-out time is 11:00 am, check-in time is 1:00 pm.
