A great marina overall!

Safe Harbor Marina Bay in Quincy, MA is one of the finest facilities on the east coast. Tyler, the General Manager, and his staff are absolutely outstanding. The dock master, Mitchell and his crew are second to none and they are always at the ready to assist with anything that you may need. They are always friendly, and it's clear that they love their jobs because the smiles never seem to leave their faces. We were at Marina Bay twice in 2020, 2021 and 2023 on our travels between Ft. Lauderdale and Down East, Maine. We weathered hurricane Lee on their new and expanded west docks and were extremely comfortable as the docks did a great job blocking the 2-foot chop on the bay driven by up to 40 kt wind gusts. We again stopped in July of 2025 on our way to Maine and in September 2025 on our southbound journey. I had some minor engine issues. Andrew, an outstanding mechanic, identified the problem and took care of it along with a couple of other issues. Can't say enough good things about Marina Bay - Quincy! MY Silver Skye

Dockmaster Mitchell is a star! We had a great stay at Marina Bay, starting before arrival with Mitchell’s proactive contact and helpful information. Upon arrival he was ready and waiting to assist with fueling and then docking. He is a one of a kind hard working employee with a great personality. A well protected marina, we were happily surprised also by the large boardwalk surrounding Marina Bay with myriad restaurants, 2 coffee shops and a market.

Great facility. Mitchell Curry is excellent. Great vibe and very convenient for restaurants. Only issue for us was the very long distance between our slip and the facilities on land (bathrooms and showers).

The crew led by dock master Mitchell Curry is best and friendliest bar none. Now there is also a ferry to Boston that runs every day, so have a very easy access to Boston. Alex W / Serenity

Stopped in Marina Bay on the way to and from Bar Harbor on Mt Desert Island in Maine...as with all Safe Harbor Marinas this one is also maintained to the highest level. However there is one big difference with this SH...Mitchell Curry. Mitchell is so nice, funny, accommodating and dedicated to SH members having a great experience at Marina Bay. I have no idea how he manages such a large marina, staff and makes it look effortless...actually I do have a clue, he enjoys what he does and it shows. Last time I was there he made sure I had an easy slip to get into and out of as I was single handing the boat, also kept the fuel dock open for me to top off before an early departure the next morning. Another clue is when Mitchell walks down the dock everyone wants to talk and joke around with him...he's that well liked and respected. I don't know who does the hiring at SH, but whoever it is knows how to choose talented marina managers like Mitchell Curry...Mitchell deserves to be SH employee of the year.

Great staff, great location

Simply an amazing and very well run first class marina. GM Tyler Miller and Dockmaster Mitchell Curry make an extraordinary team. Facilities are great and the staff is second to none - professional and very accommodating. A perfect example of a clean, customer centric and friendly marina.

Dock Master Mitchell and his staff are as professional and helpful as I have experienced anywhere on the Eastern Seaboard! On two occasions I was in the unfortunate position of single handing my 63' Passagemaker into Safe Harbor Quincy Bay. The first time I called ahead and Mitchell graciously brought out a staff member in one of their skiffs. The gentleman grabbed one of my Eartek headsets and assisted with docking, which went flawlessly. The second time I had a reservation, Mitchell preemptively emailed me and asked if I needed the same degree of assistance. That is what makes a marina experience one that you will rave about to other boaters for years to come. Thank you again, Mitchell and Safe Harbor Marina Bay. Well done great effort and understanding

Enjoyed a 3 day stay at Safe Harbor Marina Bay. The marina workboat guides you to your slip. Two dock hands took lines and made single handed docking easy and simple. Good showers and coin laundry also. There is a grocery store located nearby plus several restaurants and bars plus gelato. A ferry runs from Marina Bay to downtown Boston and to Logan airport. This is a well run and first class facility with numerous conveniences.

Great place to dock. Wonderful collection or Restaurants surround the marina within walking distance. The Ferry to Boston's waterfront is awesome. Staff is helpful and courteous.

Another wonderful stop at Marina Bay. Fantastic crew on the docks and in the Safe Harbor offices. Quincy is a gem so near Boston and the marina area is terrific with nice choice of bars & restaurants. We will certainly stop again!

This is a 5-star marina run by a 5-star team. It’s a very large marina, but they’ve managed to keep the personal touch with transient boaters. We felt very welcomed here. Would definitely stay again.

We had a GREAT stay! The Marina staff couldn’t be any more friendly and helpful. The facilities are top notch. Mitchell the dockmaster is the Best there is! We stayed for 2 night, they were super accommodating and professional. We definitely recommend!!

Great facilities, easy access to all marina bay has to offer

After years of docking in Boston we now prefer staying at Marina Bay.in Quincy . Only 7 miles away from Boston we easily visit the city taking the ferry which leaves directly from the marina or it is an easy Uber ride. The marina is surrounded with great restaurants & where you can find every including a gourmet food shop, yoga classes, hair salon, med spa, etc. The deckhands & Allison in the office are all very helpful and I praise Mitchell Curry as one of the best Dockmaster’s on the East Coast! Looking forward to our next stay!
