Molly was our fuel attendant and she was as helpful and friendly as could be. Marina only has 87 octane gas (and diesel), but at least it is non-ethanol. Alex gave us an overnight contact which was a nice touch. They even gave us a covered slip so we could organize the boat in the shade. They didn’t have to do that for a transient.

We arrived on a blustery Saturday afternoon in May. Good protection inside the marina. Solid concrete floating docks. We were on the houseboat dock as our 24’ air draft was too close to call for their 24’ covered slips. They have a full service fuel dock and convenience store with friendly staff. No dock hands, but we handled docking with no problem. We walked to the lodge for dinner and enjoyed the Country Fried Steak. The lodge is very nice and there is a fitness center with heated pool between the marina and lodge.

Lake Barkley Marina is situated inside of Lake Barkley State Resort Park. With this location, it puts you in a prime spot to enjoy all of what Kentucky has to offer. We are in walking distance of all recreational activities the State Park offers such as racquetball, swimming, fishing, nature hikes, spa, and golf to name a few. Stay at the campground in the park or just take a quick trip to the beach. Lake Barkley Marina also has the capability of housing some of the largest house and fishing boats in all of Lake Barkley. We offer a wide variety of services to fit any recreational or professional activity.
