Especially, Sam Lyons, the manager responsible for the moorings/launch is very helpful. He stayed after launch hours to meet us from our difficult trip. Helped with catching the mooring and tying extra lines for security.

Great group of people working there and very accommodating. Top notch.

Launch service prompt. Mooring fine. We had booked for two nights but spoke to the dock master the night before about leaving a day early because of a change in the weather and he was very accommodating.

Great launch service. Fast help with finding the mooring. Easy access to the shore. A favorite!

Excellent service Beautiful harbor

Great Yacht Club! Well managed by helpful and courtesy staff. Great to see all the youth sailing activities and member involvement. We were there last year as well and Sam still remembered us. We were there with a significant storm in the evening (wind 50+ knots) and the club actually texted us to make sure all was well. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent launch guys

Very adequate mooring. We stayed on it overnight and left the next. Did not go ashore to use the facilities.

Beautiful place to stay. The yacht club and village are so welcoming and the local stores and ice cream shop have all you need.

First class mooring in a very protected harbor. Sam the Dockmaster took very good care of us, including helping us with a reservation at the restaurant. Had a wonderful meal before heading out early the next morning.

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at BYC in Marion (4 nights). Sam, the waterfront director, was exceptionally kind and helpful. Thank you, again! We arrived a bit later than expected, coming up from Newport, and he offered to stay late to come out in the launch to greet us and make sure we got to our guest mooring. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great (rainy, nor’easter) during our stay, but he checked on us and let us know that the launch service would be suspended due to the stormy weather, welcoming us to have a drink/bite to eat at the club. We have a dinghy, so this was not a problem. BYC is located in a beautiful neighborhood on picturesque Marion harbor. We enjoyed walks with our dog - admiring the lovely gardens and historic homes. The general store is well stocked and close by for coffee, light provisions, etc. We look forward to returning when the weather is warm & sunny. We highly recommend staying on a guest mooring at BYC!

Very nice launch operator came out to show us the mooring even though it was not his official time to be working. Beautiful elegant homes with impressive landscaping surround the harbor.
