Great overnite. Dockmaster was on his game-super nice. Clean bathrooms with Hot Water. Fun group there for the Hook Race back to Savannah, GA. Lots of friends to enjoy the evening!

One of the standout perks is the free laundry, which is a huge bonus for anyone spending time on the water. The docks are newly updated and exceptionally well-maintained, making docking smooth and stress-free. Everything about this marina reflects care, quality, and a real commitment to boaters’ needs. The staff was very attentive in helping us dock and we had a wonderful dinner at Carolina Crab and great breakfast at Sunrise Cafe.

Modern dock and electric. Complimentary laundry facility with 2 modern larger washer and dryers. 4 clean bathrooms with shower stalls. Complimentary dockside staff assisted pump out service. All of the marina staff were friendly, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Attentive staff assisted with with adjusting dock lines in inclement weather. There is also 3 restaurants on site. The only negative is there is a busy channel beside the marina.

Wonderful Marina and staff. Floating docks in great shape. Inside is well protected for passing boats. Outside is easy on and off the dock but there is a ferry that comes by every hour. However, small wake so it’s not a problem for most boats. Staff is friendly and very helpful. 3 restaurants on property. There is a park and bike trails close by.

The marina staff is very helpful and does a great job accommodating transients. On site restaurants for casual (bar the) dining or slightly more upscale. Nice park nearby to stretch legs and run the dog. New contractor operating the ferry, so wake was not an issue. Only drawback is potential strong current can make docking a challenging, but staff is there to assist. This was our second stay, and we’ll stay here again next time we’re here.

About Palmetto Bay Marina

Palmetto Bay Marina, featuring all new docks and amenities, offers boaters the safety, convenience, and comfort of a full-service marina on the warm Carolina coast. We're only 1/2 mile from the Intracoastal Waterway, located in the heart of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. We can easily accommodate vessels up to 150+ feet.

We're excited to have completed our multi-phase restoration project at Palmetto Bay Marina. All of the facilities have been fully renovated including docks, wifi, integrated power supply, showers/restrooms, fueling stations, patio areas, and more. We’re seeing lots of boats from the loop this season making their way to the island for great weather and a slow-paced attitude.

Our location, tucked inland, provides 22 feet at low tide making an ideal stopover for larger vessels, sailboats, and catamarans. No height restrictions and wide hulls are welcome.
