The staff could not be more welcoming or helpful, which is why we continue to stay with BHYC when there are other options in Boothbay. Dinner at the club was also excellent. Everyone from the launch drive to the bartender aimed to please.

The launch operator was very helpful and prompt on directing us to our mooring and making sure that we are settled. The clubhouse, although closed on a Monday night seemed very welcoming and we had a nice chat with some members. We look forward to returning!

The Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club deserves an outstanding rating. The club members are friendly; the setting is gorgeous; the very patrician launch man Tim showed us to the mooring and gave us information about the club. We had a very tasty meal and the club included us in the bimonthly educational lecture. We will definitely try to stay a night here next year.

Solid moorings. Arrived in heavy fog and Tim came out in the launch to lead us to our mooring. Club has a bar, laundry, clean showers and serves meals most days. Will be back

We had foolishly planned to stay at a marina downtown because our friends had booked there. Unfortunately, the facility did not save us the promised mooring we had reserved a few days earlier and they would not accommodate our vessel. On 5 minutes notice steward Tim at BHYC found us a mooring, 5 pm, July 4th! He was amazing, as he came out and escorted us right in. The club was clean, great staff and a good secure mooring. We won't make the mistake of going downtown again!

BHYC is an outstanding Yacht Club with one of the best, most protected mooring fields on the coast of Maine. It has an outstanding restaurant, great sailing programs for kids and adults, and is a wonderful gathering place for boaters of all ages!

BHY was everything you would expect a traditional yacht club to be. Launch service was prompt, the dining room served a delicious meal, club personnel were helpful and members were cordial to visitors. We enjoyed our stay there.

We enjoyed our two night stay on a mooring at the BHYC. The launch came out to greet us. All of the launch drivers were friendly, helpful and informative. We ate both dinners in the clubhouse. There was plenty of choice and everything we had was delicious. The manager and staff were friendly, professional and made us feel very welcome. The showers, restrooms and laundry were very clean. We highly recommend a stay here!

Great service in a very friendly yacht club. We rented a mooring, went ashore for showers and a late afternoon drink at the bar, and found everyone without fail to be personable and chatty. Lovely place to stay.

About Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club

Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club (BHYC) in mid-coast Maine has been celebrating yachting for over 125 years, welcoming boaters who want to experience the fabled Downeast cruising grounds and picturesque Boothbay Harbor.

We have guest moorings available - up to 4,500 lbs. Mooring fees are $50 per night for vessels up to 55 feet. Water and electricity are available at the dock. The dockside depth is 14 feet at low tide. We're a short taxi ride into town, or a 1.3-mile walk. Our club stewards provide launch service from the Club's docks during the season, generally from 0900 hrs. to sunset (more limited hours early and late season). Visitors have access to the Club's dining room and bar, wi-fi network, showers, coin-operated laundry, and on-site post office.

BHYC is home to over 300 members and families and is the perfect destination for visiting sailors. With extensive guest moorings and a full-service clubhouse, BHYC hosts both individual yachts and affiliate clubs with ease.
