Great place to just walk around and enjoy Norfolk. Some of the most skilled and helpful staff around.

Beautiful marina, friendly staff and the sights of the naval boats breathtaking! My ONLY negative would be that the Waterside Markets indoor small take out restaurants were all closed! Blue Moon and PBR were open but Blue Moon was the only outlet at the marina for food. Otherwise nice place, would stay again!

Really great place in the middle of town, lots to do. Very nice tram of people, who keep the place looking clean and orderly, they could not have been more helpful, thank you Thomas and everyone else who looked after us.

Very nice marina. A little tricky getting to our spot but dockhands were very helpful. Facilities were a bit of a hike but all in all good experience

The location is ideal for exploring Norfolk, the marina is well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

As always staff are great, not there fault but the music from the stage made the boat vibrate.

The staff were more than helpful, we had many packages delivered and they helped us to get them to our boat, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

The location was great. The docks were in great shape, despite ongoing construction and repairs. The dock hands were first class. Very professional, polite and responsive. Can't say enough about them. My major complaint about the marina is that the bathroom was about a quarter mile away, and the Men's room was a single toilet and the shower was not very private. If you didn't get the bathroom first, you had to wait. For a marina of this size, in this location, there should be better restroom facilities. Another minor complaint is that there was no laundry facility. Again, a marina with so many loopers passing through, there should be a laundry facility as well.

Great staff, clear directions and in the heart of downtown

Nice stop, lots to see in the area, pumpout, walkable to downtown, great staff, four stars because only one toilet and two not-so-private showers. For a marina this size, that's not enough.

nice marina, close to everything entertaining. reasonable prices, free shuttle to grocery store. Unfortunately a construction crew working on dock cut wires and shut down our dock power. they offered to move us to another dock, but late in the day before we were leaving next morning. Had to use a gen set to provide some power. They reimbursed us for one day's electricity. Good.

A great marina surrounded by so many things to see and do. Our second time there, this time was for 3 nights!

Great marina staff and docks, but a little bit tight. Marina location is great! Showers/restrooms are a bit far but clean and plenty of hot water. 4-14-26 Update: All still true! Also, Shipyard across the river works 24/7. Noise didn't bother me - but its always there. You are not in a remote anchorage- this is very much a working port, and that's part of the appeal! The Waterside building is showing g its age a bit (I remember when it was brand new 40ish years ago!) But the downtown area of Norfolk is nice with lots to do and the restaurants and shops that are there are good!

Kendall on the dock was great. Entire marina lost electric for 3 hours due to city work, not the marina’s fault. Great floating docks with lots of space in fairways. Bathrooms super clean but a bit of hike. No Laundry on site so Uber 10 minutes to a laundromat. Dropped off and had lunch at a great diner and walked around and got to see a nice architecture in Ghent neighborhood. Lots of dining and nightlife within minutes of the marina. Definitely would stop back!
